Third floor: a spiral staircase leads to the cozy sleeping loft with three twin beds. Another comfortable fold-out twin bed is hidden in the large leather ottoman in the living area. Oriental carpets on original wood floors in the living room, master suite bedroom, and halls.

This block of Taylor Street has large rear yards, and at this property that has been transformed into a great big shaded "architectural" deck area out behind created by Yancey Siebert, a leading Savannah-based designer. The back yard features: (1) a brick courtyard leading up to (2) an oversized two-level deck around a gracious shade tree, with bamboo plantings, a water feature, and brick walkways. The jumbo deck is shared with a 2-bedroom near "mirror image" townhouse next door and with a 1-bedroom cottage at the rear of the property; either or both of them can be reserved with this property to accommodate larger groups such as for weddings, family reunions, and business group travel.

Nearby: One and a half blocks to lovely Whitefield Square with the beautiful gazebo, and a short walk to Savannah's famous Clary's for breakfast or lunch, and to the Firefly Cafe on neighboring Troupe Square; close to beautiful Forsyth Park.
